This 1.6-liter flat-four and four-speed manual transaxle were recently removed from a 1965 Porsche 356 race car, which is being converted back to street specifications following an on-track accident. The engine case originated in a 1968 912 and was reportedly built by Jeff Gamroth at Rothsport Racing of Sherwood, Oregon in 2018.
