This 1.6-Liter Ford Kent Crossflow Engine and Type E 4-Speed Gearbox package was acquired by the seller in 2023. Subsequent work included rebuilding the dual Dellorto DHLA 40 carburetors, installing a PerTronix electronic ignition conversion kit, and replacing the starter.

The engine is noted to be equipped with a performance camshaft, a Birkin valve cover, and a 4-2-1 exhaust header. It is an ideal drivetrain for Lotus Seven replicas, Birkin, Caterham, and vintage Ford projects.
